“On a beautiful day we walk trough the ancient pineforests, cross little rivers and fill our drinkingbottles. Traces of deer and many other small animals cross our path. We arrive at a gorgeous mountainlake. Catch some trout and have a cup of coffee. After rowing over the lake we use the ladders, still being used by power plant mechanics, climbing up the steep rock wall. What an exiting climb, I didn't know I could do this. And look this awesome view, we even can see the fjords and the sea back there! We continue our trips using canoes crossing this huge mountainlake. What a dramatic scenery, steep mountainsides and snow capped tops in the background. After one hour we arrive at a sandy beach besides a waterfall and another awesome valley opens up in front of us. Surrounded by beautiful waterfalls, steep mountain walls, rivers and dense forest do we continue our trip. The children don't complain this is just too much fun. What an experience and we didn't even get to the top yet......."

Our mission is to arrange an natural experience you will never forget by taking you to places you would not find going on your own. Let us guide you to the most beautiful spots the the fjords of Norway have to offer. Here you will find several of our guided mountainhikes, we offer hikes suited for families (light, moderate) and experienced mountaineers (heavy). We offer also longer hikingtours (up to one week) but we rather discuss the wishes and possibilities of our customers first.
HIKING TRIPS
1. Vedvika (one day hike, moderate, mai-october)

An surprising hike takes on the island Bremanger takes you over a mountain, passing by lakes, splendid (sea)views, old summer pastures, steep cliffs and finally to a abandonned white sandy beach with turqouis waters. We can go back by boat or the by foot.
2. Ivarvatn (one day, light, april-october)

Childrens favorite hike! The introduction above is an experience of this hike. We can after the short but very nice walk enjoy fishing, swimming, rowing, picking berries on/around the lake and go back the same way or we can extend this hike climbing up the ladders and even do a canoetour on the next lake! This is a splendid family trip which can be extended for everybodies needs.
3. Hornelen (one day, heavy, june-october)
Starting at the waterfront in the exciting Skatestraum area, you can see the massive rock wall towering up in sky. With its 850 m high cliff, Hornelen is the highest seacliff in the north of Europe. A very spectaculair and breathtaking experience looking down into the deep ....... The hike up can be done in a few hours, choosing either a steep shorter track or a longer easy track. During the whole tour you will enjoy the magnificent views in all directions over the Atlantic or deep into the fjords. The Preikestolen is just a piece of cake and the best of all, you will be almost alone on this mountain.
4. Ålfotsglacier (one day, heavy, juli-september)
Deep in the Ålfotenfjord starts this hike up a steep mountainside. After on our we leave the forrest behind and walk over the solid sandstone rock of this area. Ahead of us lays the glacier as a white horizon. Arriving on top we can easily walk alongside the glacier or (with special equipment) ascent the final 100 m to the top of the glacier. Possibilities are different each time because of the ice moving. After lunsj on top and writing our name in the book near the top (good norwegian custum) we descend while enjoying the view over the fjords.
