Day 2: 4-5 hours hiking

Day 3: 3 hours kayaking & 2 hours hiking

What do I pack for the trip?

We have a packing list for multi-day kayaking trips, you will find many useful tips there and you are welcome to download and print this list.

We also have a packing list for day hikes, which you can look at for what else you should bring.

All kayaking gear: single or double kayaks, paddles, paddle vest, 20L waterproof dry bag.

Do we hike/paddle to a new location every day?

The first 2 nights you will stay in the same place, a small village that can only be reached by boat.

The third and fourth night you will spend at 2 different locations. You will paddle to these locations.

Do you have single or double kayaks?
We operate with double and single kayaks and everybody can tell us their preferences upon booking. Having said this: we NEVER guarantee the use of single or double kayaks. This is simply because we want to be free to have a group that paddles in an equal pace, using equal effort. This means that the guide will allways have the last word in who is paddling which kayak.
How difficult are the hikes?

The route of the hikes will be determined by the guide, and depends on the overall fitness level of the group. This way, everyone will be able to enjoy themselves.

As with the overall trip, if you have a decent fitness level, the hikes will not be too difficult for you. Do keep in mind that there might be some steep ascends and descends.

Is it possible to collect drinking water during the trip?
Yes, it’s possible. On the way and at the camping spots we will have many waterfalls and small streams with good drinking water. So just bring your drinking bottle and you can refill it.
Do I carry all my lugagge during the hikes?

The hikes will always be from the cabins, so your luggage will be there and you will only need a day pack.

Getting to different cabins, you will go by kayak, so your luggage will be packed in storage compartments in the kayaks. This means you will have to pack light and only bring necessary items on your trip. Please check the packing list for a multi day kayak trip

How big is the group?

Group size always varies. Maximum group size is 10 persons. There will also be 1 guide present at all times.

What is the minimum age for this trip?

The minimum age for joining this expedition is 16 years, as we want everyone to be self reliable.

Feel free to contact us if you want to have a multi day kayak tour with your family, we can make a private tailor made tour offer for you.
