    Day to Day

    Itinerary

    Ålesund Art Nouveau city

    Day 1:

Start your tour in the cosy little town of Ålesund with its beautiful art nouveau architecture situated on the edge of the North sea. Enjoy a stroll through the city, along the harbour, and try out one of the renowned restaurants. You should really try bacalao, made of dried Cod.

    Trandal Christian Gard

    Day 2:

Jump on the boat to a roadless village by the “secret fjord” Hjørundfjord.

Stay here for 2 nights at a fjord view B&B, and enjoy the hospitality of the family that has been running this place for generations, underneath the towering steep Sunnmøre Alps.

    Day 3:

This is the best place to cut loose from all stress and impulses and recharge your batteries.

Read a book, sit on the terrace and just soak in the scenery, breathe in the fresh air, take a fresh swim in the fjord and talk to the locals or do a hike for getting an even better view.

    Hidden Fjord kayaking 1 day.

    Day 4:

Continue your tour deeper into the fjord by boat. In Urke you will join a small group for a 4-hour kayaking tour in the Norangsfjord. Experiencing the landscape from a kayak is something special, and it will be fun hearing the local myths and legends from the guide.

Later this day you will make your way, by boat, to Sæbø. Make sure to visit the local supermarket where Natasha Romanoff lurked around. Enjoy your evening in this cosy village by the fjord. Maybe you want to try the Fjord Sauna?

    Geirangerfjord seen from Skageflå

    Day 5:

This morning you will take the same ferry across the fjord as Natasha, an original Black Widow filming location, you will understand why she picked this fjord to hide. A private transfer will take you through the spectacular Norangsdalen valley (probably the most beautiful valley in Norway, that is why European royalty visited this place back in the 1800s already) including a stop at the Lygnstøylvatnet lake, also called Norway’s Atlantis.

Get ready to take the ferry through the Geirangerfjord, a unique UNESCO World Heritage site. The powerful waterfalls, with the Seven Sisters as one of the highlights, and the abandoned farms on steep ledges will definitely impress you.

By bus, you will travel the Eagle Road towards Valldal, a small village also known for its strawberries. You definitely have to taste them. Stay at a cosy fjord lodge and spend a quiet evening here.

Norwegian Scenic Route Trollstigen. Norway Adventures vacation

    Day 6:

Today the bus ride will take you over the National Scenic Route Trollstigen, one of the most spectacular roads in Norway. Crossing the mountain pass with high alpine terrain you can enjoy the sights of the canyon, river, mountains, waterfalls, bridges and hairpin turns that will take you to Åndalsnes.

After the bus ride it will be lovely to be a bit active: hike up to Rampestreken, with a great view over the village and the valley, and take the gondola down. You will spend 2 nights in a historic city centre hotel.

    Day 7:

A great way to explore the Romsdal valley, another Black Widow Filming Location, is to take the railway as a half-day excursion out and back. This train ride is also described as one of the most beautiful train rides in the world.

On the train, you will pass the spectacular Trollveggen Wall, Kylling Bridge and the wilderness area of Reinheimen (home to the reindeer) National Park. After a stop in the charming village of Lesja, where you also can visit the open-air museum, you will take the train back to Åndalsnes. You will see that the ride back will offer you different views again.

    Day 8:

On the last day of your journey, you will take the bus back to Ålesund, driving along other fjords and finally to the coastal island where the airport is situated and you will take your flight home.
