Seakayaking

"Our kayaks are gliding through the clear waters silently. We enjoy the fantastic scenery with steep mountain walls dropping straight into the sea. A pair of sea eagles is circling high above us in the sky. Our guide tells us where they have their nest. Because of the incoming tide we move quite fast without paddling that hard. Sometimes you see fish and other sea creatures below in the seaweed forests underneath our kayaks. What a trip. On the island in the middle of the straight we take lunch. The impressive cliff of Hornelen towers 850 m up from the sea. At the other side we can see Vingenfield, the biggest rockpainting field in Norway with paintings dating back almost 4000 years.
After lunch we continue our trip and round the island. The bumpy sea tells us we are out in the Atlantic. It has been calm weather so it's nothing serious. After a few ours we paddle into a bay and the surprisingly we land on a white sandy beach with blue, turquoise waters. Is this Norway? Yes it doesn't get much more exotic than this. We make a fire on the empty (?!) beach and prepare for dinner............."

As padling entusiasts we have padled lots of places (in Europe, New Zealand, Canada) the variation of the Norwegian fjords and it's coast strikes us everytime we come home. Ragged peaks, glaciers, steep narrow fjords, inlets, thousands of big and smaller islands, rocky cliffs, white sandy beaches, lots of small pittoreske villages, patches of green meadows, woods, bare rock, ancient trading posts, wildlife, clearwater are among the things you will encounter on a kayaktour in Norway.

 

We offer guided kayaking tours in the fjords and along the coast of fjord norway. Seakayak courses and rentals.

We have scheduled tours in the highseason but we offer all tours from 1-7 days from may untill oktober at request for groups over 4 people.

Explore the worlds most beautiful fjord (UNESCO worldheritagelist) from a kayak, easy padling and lots of cultural history visiting at least to mountainfarms.

 ÅLESUND TO GEIRANGER ADVENTURE, 6 day guided tour all inclusive € 1080,- p.p.

Starting in the Jugendstil town of Ålesund padling the Ellingsøyfjord, Solnørcanals, Storfjord, Sunnylvsfjord and finally the Geirangerfjord. Staying on remote islands, tradingposts, mountain farm, fantastic way to enjoy the unique fjords, whales, and cultural history of probably one of the most beautiful kayaktours in Fjord Norway (and probably the world).

  Summercourses 

½ day seakayak introductioncourse 3 hrs from NOK 500,-

No experience, no problem. Our instructors take wil learn you basic paddle tecniques in a few hours in safe and calm conditions. This provides you with enough trening to start paddling on your own. And enjoy the natural wonders of the Bremanger islands on your own.

1 day seakayak introduction and guided tour, 8 hrs NOK 1200,-

This day starts with the course described above. After this you will go out to practice your learnings and meet te wonderfull world of seakayaking in beautifull surroundings as the islands of Bremanger. One big discoverytour is garanteed.

basic seakayakcourse (2 days, 16 hrs), NOK 2100,-

This is a course open to everyone over 14 years old.  A perfect possibility to learn all the basics of paddling in coastal waters and partnerrescue. This course is the best start to a save and fun paddling hobby. Write a mail and we get back to you when the exact dates are known. Courses will be held on Bremanger Island.

You can rent all kayakequipment with us. We have single and double kayaks, plastic and polyester. Paddles, lifevests, safetygear everything is included. If you have a wet or drysuit take it with you. If you have not might have one that fits you. We rent out from 1/2 a day and more.
